Envoyez-vous des paquets par la poste?

Oui, nous pouvons envoyer par la poste, au pays ou international.

Combien chargez-vous pour les envois postaux?

Le prix des envois postaux varie en fonction du poids du paquet, sa grosseur, et sa destination. Nous ferons peser le paquet et vous laisserons ensuite savoir le tarif.

Combien de temps pour recevoir mon paquet?

Again, it depends on where you live. Shipping outside of Canada will increase the delay for receiving your package, especially if we ship oversea.

Normally, shipping within Canada will take about one week (7 open days). Shipping to the US will usually take between 1 or 2 weeks.

We can use a different shipping method than regular mail, if you prefer to use that and don’t mind paying extra.

Please note that we now only ship using airmail when we need to send a package oversea, as too often, it would arrive damaged when using ground shipping.

Shipping oversea will normally take between 2 and 3 weeks.

(Yes, you can say it… Canada Post isn’t the fastest fish in the school).

Faster shipping is however available, if you are willing to pay the extra cost from the post office, just request it when closing the deal.

Égalisez-vous les prix?

Nope.

We cannot guarantee that we have the best prices for every items, but we do try to have very good, fair prices as much as possible, following the market.

It would be too much trouble changing our prices all the time because a big chain has a game on sale for a few days, and we have no interest in entering “prices wars” either.

Instead, we prefer to try to keep up-to-date with the prices on the market to be able to offer the best deals possible for us, to you.

We are specializing in anime merchandise and video games, but we do have a kind of partnership with a great store just across the parking lot from our location. L‘As des Jeux are specializing in board games of all kind, are awesome people and will be happy to help you.

Avez-vous des cartes de jeu? (Yu-Gi-Oh!, Magic...)

We do have a little bit of them, but it is only packs of them we make when people bring them to us.

We do not sell individual cards or factory-sealed packs.

You might want to try Multizone for those.

Achèteriez-vous mes jeux/consoles/collection?

We will definitely take a look at what you have and make an offer.

We typically prefer to make offers on lots rather than individual games,
except for certain rarer pieces.

We can either offer money or store credit in trade for your items.

Woah, vous donnez tout ça pour UN SEUL jeu? Êtes-vous sûr?

Trust us. If we are offering you more that what you expected, just enjoy it. We’ll be fine.

It can surprise some people, but sometimes, even a game that was released in impressive quantity and is relatively common can reach a good price.

It’s all a matter of offer and demand.

C'est un jeu super vieux! Pourquoi vous n'offrez presque rien?

Prices are based on the condition of the items, the rarity, the demand for them, and how many we already have.

Some games can be old, rare, or even pretty rare, but no one is looking for them, which would make the price for that item drop.

On the other hand, some items were made in large numbers when they were released, but they are still in high demand, which can make the prices more interesting.

And an item that is in high demand and hard to get our talons on, will be worth even more.

It depends.

If it is reasonable for us, we might.

However, we have no intention of entering a “prices war”, or an “auction” with other potential buyers.

We try to make our evaluation and give a fair price from the get-go.

Autres Questions

Faites-vous des réparations?

Yes and no.

We have the equipment to repair game discs (such as PS1, PS2, Wii, WiiU, etc… even Gamecube!)

Repairing a game disc doesn’t take very long, only a few minutes, so you can drop by the store with your games and we will take care of it directly.
The most capricious discs to repair are Gamecube, Wii and WiiU, but we have a pretty good machine with good results.

For game systems repairs, our tech can sometimes give advice on what the problem might be, but we do not take in game systems from customers unfortunately.

Don’t hesitate to ask for advice, however, because sometimes the solution is simpler than we might think.

If you need to replace a depleted battery from a game cartridge or handheld console, this can be done.

No, The Blue Gryphon/Le Griffon Bleu currently has no franchisee and no affiliated store.

Yes, we are already aware that our name has been copied, but there is no relation whatsoever with that other-coloured griffon store.

As a matter of fact, we have no affiliation with any other griffon store of any kind.

Remember: there is only one Blue Gryphon/Griffon Bleu store! =)
